on ecology. Various galleries take visitors

part of Delhi close to the diplomatic area the
museum exhibits, 140 year old history of Indian
Railways. Main Attractions: are
the Fairie Queen of 1885 the oldest working steam
locomotive, the luxury saloon of the Prince of
Wales and the saloon of the Maharaja of Mysore.

The museum depicts the richness
of Tibetan culture and art. It has a collection of
thankas, old currency notes, headpieces, prayer
objects and musical instruments. The building also
houses a library and an
emporium.
Nehru
Memorial Museum and
Planetarium
The
Teen Murti house was the residence of India's
first Prime minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. It
showcases various items that he used and the gifts
he received. The house was converted into a
memorial after his death. The Nehru Planetarium
here gives a complete overview of the Indian Space
program. Films are screened daily. The Capsule in
which Rakesh Sharma went into space is also
displayed here.

Clippings And Photographs From The Independence
Movement.
The residence of Late Jawaharlal
Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India was
converted into a museum after his death. The
museum is a fascinating place to learn about the
history of the Independence Movement.
There are
several photographs of the erstwhile Prime
Minister, giving an account of his life. Besides
this, the colonial building is also equally
interesting, with its teak paneled rooms with high
ceilings, spacious verandas and well kept
gardens.
