Six Day Itinerary
Visit: After your return from a trip outside the city, you can take some time off to rest and be fresh for the next round. Set off in the morning to visit Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation. You may have to take local bus, auto/taxi. Next, drop in at Shankar's International Dolls Museum, housed in the building of the Children's Book Trust on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg which is about 2kms from Raj Ghat, take an auto to reach there. Your next destination should surely be the Akshardham Temple, the magnificent temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, an 18th-century social reformer. You may walk upto Pargati Maidan to take metro to Akshardham.
Eat: You can either eat within the temple premises or head to Noida's bustling Sector 18 market by metro from Akshardham. Distance is about 7kms. Lajpat Nagar, too, is a good eating option that favours both, your pocket and taste. To reach there, take a local bus, auto/taxi the distance is about 7kms.
Shop: Noida Sector 18 and Lajpat Nagar are both a shopper's paradise where the range of products varies from high-end fashion to street wear are available. You can shop for ladies' dress material, kurtas, sandals, bags and more.
Visit: You can keep the whole evening for Akshardham and from Shankar's International Dolls Museum go straight to the Old Fort, National Zoological Garden, and Crafts Museum buy local bus/auto. Distance is about 2kms.
Eat: You can either eat at Sunder Nagar market that has some irresistible eateries which is at a walking distance or go to Lajpat Nagar by local bus, auto/taxi. The distance is about 4kms.
Shop: Lajpat Nagar, a shopper's paradise, is where you find high-end fashion and street wear. You can shop for ladies' dress material, kurtas, sandals, bags and more.
