Soulmate came together in Shillong, in February 2003 playing their first concert at the 'Roots Festival'. Since the nthe band has performed many concerts all over the Northeast as well as in different parts of India.
They have also performed at the International Jazzmandu Festival in Kathmandu for two consecutive years, 2004 and 2005.

Ustad Raza Ali Khan
Ustad Raza Ali Khan was born in Mumbai to Hindustani classical vocalist, Munawar Ali Khan and, he is the grandson of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.
The youth of the country will present a scintillating variety of dances and songs. Each evening will end with some rocking music by young bands from Delhi's various Colleges. There shall be kite flying at the venue during the day and a giant puppet show in the afternoon. A brilliant Laser and Beam show will light up the sky during and at the end of each day's performance.

Pandit Chhannu Lal
Pandit Chhannulal Mishra is a Hindustani classical singer from Banaras, a noted expotent of the Kirana gharana (school) of the Hindustani classical music and especially the Khayal and the 'Purab Ang' - Thumri. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian honor, in 2010.

Renowned santoor player from Sopore, Kashmir, Bhajan Sopori has received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award and the Padma Shri. He is the son of composer. Shamboo Nath Sopori. He made technical modifications to the santoor, expanding its range. His son, Abhay Sopori has also taken to playing the santoor.
