Euphoria were among the first to bring rock culture to India.They mixed electric guitar with traditional instruments like the tabla, dholak and sitar to create mesmerizing.

Louiz Banks is the hand which played on keyboard for innumerable mega hits and created several catchy jingles.
The Jazz scene in Bombay for three decades and more has had Louiz Banks as the prime driving force. He has played with many generations of jazz Musicians and has formed a Number of successful ensembles of Jazz musicians.

Hariharan
Born into a family of carnatic vocalists, Hariharan's deep sonorous voice rang with pathos to create a sublimely e v o c a t i v e pa e a n t o a dispossessed life in Mumbai's urban jungle. Since then some very fine poetry rendered as Ghazals has become the leitmotif of Hariharan's singing. His repertoire though has expended to include all genres of music.

Sivamani
Indefatigable and inveterate, Sivamani dreams and breathes percussion. Arguably the finest percussionist in India, the beatmaster must have contributed to hundreds of film hits in different languages. His upbeat mood is infectious and his rhythms uptempo. Sivamani plays more than 100 instruments.

Kavita Seth
Sufi-folk singer Kavita Seth has composed many songs on different concepts and recently released "Sufiana" Album dedicated to Maulana Rumi. Kavita who has been trained in Hindustani music and classical music has a fresh voice which is uniquely different from the various other voices dominating the industry.
The youth of the country will present a scintillating variety of dances and songs. Each evening will end with some rocking music by young bands from Delhi's various Colleges. There shall be kite flying at the venue during the day and a giant puppet show in the afternoon. A brilliant Laser and Beam show will light up the sky during and at the end of each day's performance.

The Programmes under the "YOUTH FESTIVAL" scheduled for October 8th to 13th will now be held in the last week of October. Any inconvenience in this
regard is regretted.

Ajoy Chakraborty
Ajoy Chakraborty is considered to be one of the finest vocalists currently performing in India today. He is a veritable trendsetter, demonstrating a knowledge of diverse forms of classical, light-classical and even modern vocal music. He showed extraordinary promise in vocal music and at the tender age of three, began taking lessons from his father Ajit Chakrabarty.
He then learnt from Pannalal Samanta and Shri Kanai Das Bairagi And later become a student of Padma Bhushan Pandit Jnan Parkash Ghosh.

Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia,is a world – renowned exponent of the bansuri or bamboo flute. He is one of those rare classical musicians who expanded the peripheries of classical music by taking it to the common man. Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia has won several honours and awa rds including Sangeet Natak Academy Award, Padma Bhushan , and Padma Vibhushan.
